A visit to our location beside the world-renowned Cabot Trail, gets you started on an adventure in nostalgia, nature and sheer beauty. The famous Margaree river is just beside us as it flows from the forested Cape Breton Highlands to the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It’s from here the iconic Atlantic salmon both leaves and returns to propagate.

Fun Facts

The Salmon Museum is housed in a building that was once a country schoolhouse. Rossville School served students in the area from the early 1900s until it closed in 1958.
